At the same time, the capital's military administration has not yet reported the dead, only 14 wounded.

At the moment, 52 people have been evacuated from a multi-storey residential building in Holosiivskyi district, where the fire occurred, and eight have been saved. As a result of the fire at the service station, about 40 cars were burned or damaged. The fire has been extinguished.

Russian troops shelled Kyiv

A nationwide air alert was declared at 5:54 a.m. Around 7:00 a.m., a series of explosions rang out in the capital. Vitaliy Klitschko, the capital's mayor, announced the work of the air defence forces.

One person was injured in Holosiivskyi district. Damage to the power grid was also recorded.

One victim was hospitalised by medics from a high-rise building in the Holosiivskyi district, where the fire occurred as a result of an attack by the Russian Federation, Klitschko clarified.
