Seven civilians injured after Russia's drone attack on modular town in Kherson region

Last night, Russian drones dropped explosives on the village of Vysoke, Tiahynka community in the Kherson region. The Russians targeted an administrative building and a modular town.

Russian drones attacked modular town in Vysoke

On the night of 5 January, the Russian army attacked the village of Vysoke, Tiahynka community, with three Grad missiles. A modular town came under fire, and 7 people were injured.

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration (RMA), Oleksandr Prokudin, posted this on Telegram.

Last night, the Russian army struck Vysoke, Tiahynka community in the Kherson region, with three Shahed drones. An administrative building and a modular town were damaged, the official said.

According to the head of the RMA, a 50-year-old man was injured and taken to hospital.

He was diagnosed with abdominal and liver injuries. Another local resident, aged 43, was wounded in the back and shoulder. The victim was provided with medical assistance on the spot, Prokudin said.

In addition, five people, including a 14-year-old boy, suffered from brain concussion and acute stress reactions.

They were saved by a shelter they managed to reach before the enemy opened fire, he added.

Shelling of Kherson region

Russian troops are constantly shelling Kherson and the region.

In particular, on 4 January, Russian troops shelled the village of Stanislav in the Kherson region. As a result of the shelling, electricity was cut off in the village. One person was killed and two people were injured.

In addition, on this day, the occupants shelled Novotyahyntsi. A 52-year-old woman was wounded as a result of the shelling. She was taken to hospital.
