Around midnight on 15 December, an air raid alert was issued in Kyiv and a number of regions due to the threat of Shahed-136/131 UAVs.
Air raid alert in Kyiv and other regions on December 15
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded several groups of enemy drones:
In the Chernihiv region (the Nizhyn district) and on the border of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, a group of UAVs are flying due west.
Several groups in the Yagotyn district of Kyiv region are flying due west.
In the Mykolayiv region — due west or northwest.
In the Kirovohrad region — due northwest (Kropivnytskyi).
An air raid alert has been announced in a number of northern, central and southern regions of Ukraine.
Drone attacks on Ukraine
On the night of 15 December, Russian troops launched 14 attack drones over Ukraine from the Primorsko-Akhtarsky district of the Krasnodar territory of Russia.
The air defence forces destroyed all 14 drones in the Mykolaiv, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi and Poltava regions.
On the night of 14 December, the defenders of the sky managed to shoot down 41 of 42 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. The vast majority of them were shot down in Odesa region.
As of the morning of 13 December, the Air Force reported the destruction of all 10 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs.
Also, at exactly 03:00 on December 13, the enemy launched 10 ballistic missiles at Kyiv. All of them were shot down by an anti-aircraft missile unit of the Air Force.
