Ukrzaliznytsia said that the grain train, scattered by Polish farmers on the morning of February 20 near the "Medyka-Shegyni" checkpoint, was heading to Germany in transit through Poland.

The company emphasised the inadmissibility of interference from Polish protesters in the railway work.
Polish protesters opened the hatches of two Ukrainian freight cars containing grain at the Medica freight station. Ukrainian cargo goes to Germany in transit through Poland.
Ukrzaliznytsia noted that it strictly adheres to the ban on importing grain cargo to Poland introduced in April 2023 and only transports these cargo in transit.
About 40 Ukrainian freight cars with agricultural products are waiting to be reloaded at the Medica cargo station.
The Polish Railways and the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland were informed about the unauthorised interference in the work of the railway.
The company also sent a corresponding appeal to the Polish law enforcement authorities.
The situation with the blockade of the border of Ukraine
On February 9, Polish farmers resumed blocking roads in Poland and checkpoints on the Polish-Ukrainian border.
On February 11, Polish farmers opened Ukrainian trucks before the "Yagodyn-Dorogusk" checkpoint and dumped grain.
On February 18, Polish protesters blocked passenger train No. 119 Kyiv — Chelm and tried to stop two freight trains.
On February 20, Polish farmers planned to block all checkpoints on the Ukraine border, as well as communication hubs and entrances to transshipment railway stations and seaports.
