The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) detained the organisers of new schemes to evade mobilisation.
The SSU press service reported this.
The SSU eliminated four more "evaders schemes": one of them was used by a cleric of the UOC (MP)
The SSU has blocked new schemes for evasion of mobilisation and illegal departure abroad of men of military age.
As a result of comprehensive measures in different regions of Ukraine, ten organisers were detained. The schemers offered conscripts to flee to the European Union on the basis of forged documents.
The cost of such "services" was estimated at up to 12,000 US dollars, depending on the urgency of the departure.
🔹 In the Zakarpattia region, three traffickers who sent potential conscripts to EU countries as drivers of international passenger flights were exposed.
According to operational information, among their clients was a cleric of the local diocese of the UOC (MP), who used the scheme to illegally travel abroad. He is currently in Ukraine, and the investigation is ongoing.
According to the investigation, the robbery was organised by two co-owners of a local trucking company and their accomplice, a resident of Khust district.
Using the e-signature of the company, the persons involved entered customers' data into the information system "Shlyah". After that, the evaders were "picked up" on the flight by other drivers and thus they crossed the border.
🔹 In the Ternopil region, two mobilisation evasion schemes were blocked at once. One of them was organised by two local businessmen.
They traded fake certificates from the Military Medical Commission and the territorial recruiting centre regarding "no fitting for military service" due to "bad" health.
To produce the "package of documents," the detainees used bogus forms and stamps of the relevant state institutions.
The organisers of another scheme called themselves supporters of the so-called "people's rule".
Criminals issued military tickets to their associates on behalf of a fake organisation. Outwardly, the forgery was very similar to military registration documents of the established model, and thus, they were used to evade mobilisation.
🔹 In Lviv, SSU employees neutralised a criminal group that promised conscripts to be "off the fitting" from the military records based on their health status.
The scheme's organiser involved two accomplices in the illegal activity, who negotiated with clients and transferred money to him.
According to the revealed facts, investigations are ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crimes and bring the culprits to justice. Detainees face up to 9 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Comprehensive measures were carried out jointly with the National Police under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office.
