Checking the circumstances of the attack on the soldiers of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade

Now we know minute by minute what and how it happened. We figured out what led to the tragedy and how it could have been avoided. Yes, they really gathered soldiers in the yard of the house to reward them. All cloaking rules were ignored. More than ten cars were parked nearby.

The minister noted that before the strike, a Russian reconnaissance drone was spotted in the sky, which led to an air alert in the entire region. The soldiers were warned of the danger.

As soon as the missile launch was detected, the "missile alert" signal was sent out. No centralised security measures were taken at the award ceremony.

The investigation is underway. Umerov added that all those responsible would be punished due to the law.

He instructed the General Staff to check the implementation of security protocols in the units.

I appeal to all commanders responsible for the safety of soldiers: disregard for basic security measures is unacceptable.
