The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi said that Ukraine will soon be able to respond to the Russian invaders in the air as well. There will be more downed enemy planes.
Syrsky made the statement on the second anniversary of the full-scale war
I believe that in the near future we will give an asymmetric response to the Russian occupier in the air as well. There will be even more burning Russian planes. The leadership of the state is doing everything possible for this, - noted the Commander-in-Chief.

He reminded that in two years, Ukraine has achieved notable successes, liberating the north and Kharkiv region, part of Kherson region, Zmiiny Island, and clearing the Black Sea from the Russian fleet.
Syrskyi thanked the defenders of Ukraine, doctors, rescuers, volunteers, as well as partners for helping our country.
Every projectile, every tank, every armored vehicle is, first of all, saving the life of a Ukrainian soldier. We are fighting for every meter of our land, but the most valuable thing we have is the life of a Ukrainian soldier, he added.
Losses of the Russian army
The Ukrainian military continues to liquidate the Russian military. The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 409,010 soldiers.
According to the General Staff, the Defense Forces destroyed 770 Russian invaders during the day, and the following equipment was destroyed:
tanks - 6534 (+8) units;
armored combat vehicles - 12,425 (+15) units;
artillery systems - 9952 (+36) units;
RSZV - 999 units;
air defense means - 684 (+2) units;
aircraft - 340 (+1) units;
helicopters - 325 units;
UAVs of operational-tactical level - 7659 (+31) units;
cruise missiles - 1,905 (+2) units;
ships/boats - 25 units;
submarines - 1 unit;
automotive equipment and tank trucks - 12,988 (+28) units;
special equipment - 1576 (+1) units.
