The commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, Gen Oleksandr Syrskyi, warns about the preparation of the Russian army units for the resumption of offensive operations in the north of Ukraine.
The enemy can resume the offensive in the Siversk direction
Colonel General Syrskyi analysed the situation in the northern and eastern directions of the Russo-Ukrainian front.
The Ground Forces Commander reported this on his Telegram channel.
According to Syrskyi, the enemy moves "Storm" units and forms assault companies.
The Commander also said that the operational situation in the East remains difficult. The enemy continues offensive operations in the Kupiansk, Lyman and Bakhmut directions.
In particular, the occupiers do not stop trying to dislodge Ukrainian units from the Kupiansk forest and seize Synkivka, aiming to block Kupiansk.
Serebryansk forestry continues to remain one of the areas where the enemy's primary efforts are concentrated. In this direction, unsuccessful attempts are being made to attack Ukrainian positions with the support of armoured vehicles in the directions of Dibrova, Torske, Dibrova, and Yampil.
At the same time, Syrskyi notes, despite the large-scale offensive actions of the enemy, Ukrainian soldiers in all directions "firmly hold the defensive lines and inflict significant losses on the enemy."

It is noted that with Zaluzhnyi and Umierov, the Chief of the AFU General Staff, Lieutenant General Serhii Shaptala, also arrived at the AFU position in the Kupiansk region.
According to Sirskyi, the Ukrainian military repels constant attacks by the Russian occupying army in the Kupiansk region.
