Deteriorating weather complicates the work of mobile anti-aircraft fire groups, but Ukrainian fighters still destroy Russian targets in the sky.
The influence of weather on the work of mobile air defence groups
The spokesman of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, noted on the telethon air that the weather does not interfere with anti-aircraft missile systems. Still, it will be a problem for mobile fire groups.
However, Ukrainian defenders can adapt to bad weather conditions and destroy Russian objects in the sky.
Air defence work on December 14
On the night of December 13 to 14, the Ukrainian military shot down 41 out of 42 Russian kamikaze drones.
The vast majority were destroyed over the Odesa region. The attack lasted more than six hours.
Due to the fall of debris from downed UAVs, a dormitory was damaged, where 11 people were injured, 3 of them were children. Two 8-year-old boys and a 12-year-old girl have contusions and closed brain injuries, and adults have concussions and injuries.
The Izmail district was also attacked, where the occupiers directed more than 20 attack drones. The port infrastructure was the goal.
Warehouses were destroyed, and people were not injured.
