An agreement on security guarantees can be signed between Ukraine and Germany as early as February 16, the draft of this document is ready.

According to the report of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, there is already a draft agreement at the negotiations on partnership in the field of security between Germany and Ukraine.

The goal is to sign an intergovernmental agreement during the Munich Security Conference. According to the report, the signing is scheduled for February 16.

In response to DPA's request, the government spokeswoman noted that negotiations between Federal Chancellor Scholz and Ukrainian President Zelenskyi on the security partnership will continue in the near future.

It is important that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz hinted that soon it will be possible to announce the conclusion of an agreement on "security guarantees" with Ukraine.
