During the night, the criminal army of the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with the help of 49 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type, which the invaders launched from three directions.

It is noted that the Russian occupiers launched Shahed attack drones for attacks on Ukraine from the Crimean Cape Chauda, Russian Primorsk-Akhtarsk, and Kursk Oblast.
The enemy also attacked Kharkiv with six S-300 air defense missiles.
The majority of attack drones were directed by the enemy at the front line of defense, as well as at civilian, military and infrastructure facilities in the front-line areas, in particular in the Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhzhia regions, the Air Force notes.
What is known about the consequences of the attacks of the Russian army on Ukraine during the night
According to the representatives of the Kyiv RMA, a fire broke out at one of the critical infrastructure facilities as a result of a night attack by the Russian Army's drones.
It is noted that the fire broke out in an open area and was promptly extinguished.
According to preliminary information, no houses were hit. There are no victims or injured.

In addition, Kiyv City Military Administration (KCMA) representatives reported that rescue units of the State Emergency Service discovered the bodies of two more people who died as a result of a massive rocket attack by the Russian army on Kyiv on December 29.
Two more dead. Altogether — 19 already! Rescuers continue to identify victims of the Russian missile strike, the KCMA noted.
Meanwhile, according to the Operational Command "South" representatives, 7 Shahed-131/136 type kamikaze drones of the Russian army were shot down in the sky over the Mykolaiv and Odesa regions during the night.
It is noted that the enemy attack lasted about 7 hours. The terrorists launched the UAV from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov.
As a result of the hits in the Kherson region, several private houses in the Tyagin community were damaged.
In the Odesa region, debris from a downed drone caused a fire in the coastal zone.
The fire was promptly extinguished. There was no information about the victims.
In Kharkiv, as a result of attacks by the Russian occupiers with rockets and drones, the number of victims was 28.
According to the information of the head of Kharkiv RMA, Oleg Syniegubov and representatives of the Kharkiv police, Russian terrorists from the Russian army hit the centre of the city with two Iskander-M missiles on the evening of December 30.
Three S-300 missiles landed in the Industrial District. At night, Kharkiv was attacked by "Shaheds".
Among the injured are also two children.
Syniegubov clarifies that 12 victims are in hospitals.
Among the patients are two children aged 14 and 16 and a foreigner. The injured are in medium and light conditions.
As a result of the attacks, fires broke out, and high-rise buildings, shops, hotels, cafes, office premises, and cars were damaged.
Also, at night, the occupiers shelled the village of Borova in the Izyum district—a damaged private house. The bodies of a woman and two men were recovered from the rubble.
