Armed Forces could hit a new enemy target in Crimea

On the night of Wednesday, 20 December, the DSCC and a Russian military unit were attacked in occupied Crimea, the Astra website reports, citing sources.

According to local residents, they heard explosions in several areas of the peninsula at night. First of all, near Yevpatoriya and Krasnoperekopsk.

Journalists report that around the same time, two attacks on military units were carried out, in particular in the village of Solnechnohirske near Alushta.

In addition, it has been reported about the injury of an FSS border guard and damage to a satellite communications antenna.

The next strike was carried out at around 5 a.m. on the DSCC in the village of Vitino in the Saky district. At least two air strikes were carried out on its territory, and one piece of military equipment was damaged, according to opposition journalists.

According to preliminary data, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck with Storm Shadow missiles.

It is worth noting that neither the Russian occupation authorities nor the Armed Forces of Ukraine have yet commented on the information about the missile strikes.

What is known about Russian space control systems in Crimea

The Russian authorities first announced their presence on the territory of the occupied peninsula 8 years ago.

This information was officially confirmed by the Deputy Commander of the Space Forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces for Testing, Andrei Ivashina.

This makes it possible to increase their combat capabilities many times over compared to previous generations of systems. With the introduction of new space control system complexes, the Russian Aerospace Forces will be able to constantly monitor the near-Earth space from all angles and in the maximum altitude range, the occupier claimed at the time.
