Over the last day, 8 December, our troops killed 396 Russian terrorists in the Tavriya sector. They also destroyed 11 pieces of military equipment.
The Armed Forces spoke about the situation in the direction of Tavriya
During the day, the enemy:
conducted 56 combat engagements;
carried out 498 artillery attacks.
In the direction of Avdiivka
Ukrainian defence forces successfully repelled 35 enemy attacks in the areas east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, Tonenke and Pervomaiske.
In the direction of Maryinka
Defence forces repelled 24 attacks in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobyeda and Novomykhailivka.
In the direction of Shakhtars and Zaporizhzhia
Our soldiers repelled all enemy attacks. In particular, the Russians tried to regain their lost positions in the areas west of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Melitopol sector, Ukraine's defence forces continue to inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line, the press service reports.
During the day, the military eliminated 396 terrorists and destroyed 11 units of enemy equipment, including:
3 tanks;
7 armoured fighting vehicles;
1 unmanned aerial vehicle;
One ammunition depot was also destroyed. Another 6 units of enemy equipment were damaged," the press service added.
