The Ukrainian military has succeeded in advancing in the Bakhmut region of Donetsk region, where Ukrainian defenders managed to liberate certain territories from the control of the army of the Russian Federation.
What is known about the situation in the Bakhmut area
According to Oleg Kalashnikov, head of the press service of the 26th artillery brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have certain tactical successes in the Bakhmut area, east of Klishchiivka.
Kalashnikov emphasized that the situation at the front in the Bakhmut area remains very dynamic.
As for Klishchiivka, we can observe quite active actions from our side. And indeed we are successful in promoting and liberating some of our territory. We really repelled the enemy from some positions and occupied them. However, I want to say that the situation is really very dynamic — it's a see-saw: today we took some positions, and tomorrow they will. This is a tactical level, of course, — Kalashnikov notes.
The spokesperson of the 26th Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces also confirmed numerous cases of desertion by the Russian occupiers and attempts to evade participation in the assault operations.
Kalashnikov emphasized that it is mostly about mobilized Russians who understand that they are actually being sent to their deaths.
He emphasized that recently the criminal army of the Russian Federation has been carrying out the Kremlin's order to carry out continuous offensive operations.
Kalashnikov connected this with the Kremlin's desire to demonstrate at least some success at the front.
How the lack of ammunition can affect the situation at the front
According to Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military-political analyst of the "Information Resistance" group, in a comment to the journalists of the "Espresso" channel, the lack of ammunition may force the Ukrainian military to resort to blind defense.

At the same time, Kovalenko emphasized that the lack of ammunition will also force the Ukrainian military to concede certain positions.
He added that we are not talking about significant territorial losses, but further de-occupation of Ukrainian territories will have to be postponed.
This, unfortunately, must be admitted. It will really dominate in the near future, until our international partners restore exactly that amount of supplying us with the appropriate nomenclature and tools for victory and the liberation of territories, — emphasized the analyst.
