What is known about the situation in the Sinkivka area
The head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (RMA), Oleg Syniegubov. noted that in this direction of the front, despite the widespread claims, the occupying Russian army has not had any successes, even minor ones.
The Kupyan direction remains quite difficult. Our Armed Forces have recently repulsed more than 20 enemy assault attacks with heavy armored vehicles, with a large number of infantry. The forces and means of the enemy are concentrated on capturing Sinkivka. They have no success there. The settlement is fully controlled by our Armed Forces, the head of Kharkiv RMA emphasizes.
He emphasised that occasionally, fighting occurs on the outskirts of the settlement, but the Ukrainian military is actively destroying enemy assault units.
If some military equipment entered the territory of this settlement and was then destroyed, this does not mean that the enemy captured it, Syniegubov explains.
He also added that the fighting is taking place in the so-called "grey zone" territory, the borders of which have not changed during the last six months.
According to AFU General Staff, on December 27, in the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine enemy attacks near Synkivka and east of Ivanivka, Kharkiv region.
