The Ukrainian military continues to hold a bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnipro in the Kherson region. It opposes attempts by the criminal army of the Russian Federation to regain lost positions in the Zaporizhzhia region.
What is known about the AFU successes and the consequences of the attacks of the Russian army on Ukraine
It is noted that during the day, the Ukrainian military engaged in battle with units of the criminal army of the Russian Federation 70 times.
The Ukrainian military is holding and trying to expand the bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region and is launching effective artillery strikes at enemy positions.
During the day, the aviation of the defense forces carried out 15 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, four on control points and three on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile system forces and means of air defense of Ukraine also destroyed a Russian Su-24M fighter aircraft.
Units of the missile forces damaged six areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, one command post, one ammunition warehouse, 2 EW stations and 11 enemy artillery units.
During the day, the Russian occupiers launched four missiles and 53 airstrikes and carried out 59 shellings with rocket launchers against Ukrainian military positions and civilian infrastructure objects.
What is known about the situation in specific directions
In Volyn and Polissia's directions, the operational situation is without significant changes. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Specific units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in the border areas with Ukraine.
In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and intelligence activities, attacks populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the Kostobobriv, Chernihiv Oblast, and Novodmytrivka in Sumy OblasFifteen 15 settlements, including Kostobobriv, Hrinivka, and Mhy in the Chernihiv region; Popivka, Bachivsk, and Grabovske in the Sumy region; Nesterne, Kozacha Lopan, Bilyy Kolodyaz’, Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy attacks on Synkivka, Kharkiv region, and Novoselivskyi, Luhansk region. The enemy launched an airstrike in the Ivanivka area of the Kharkiv region. About ten settlements in the Kharkiv region, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove, came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces repulsed 13 attacks by the enemy, who, with the support of aviation, tried to dislodge our units from the occupied lines in the districts of Bilogorivka in the Luhansk Region, and Terny, Spirne, Vesely, Rozdolivka, and Donetsk Region. About 15 settlements were affected by enemy artillery and mortar attacks, among them Nevske, Bilogorivka of the Luhansk region and Yampolivka, Torske, Serebryanka, Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, Rozdolivka of the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, Defense Forces repelled nine enemy attacks in the Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka and Andriivka districts of the Donetsk region. About ten settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Orihovo-Vasylivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Bohdanivka, and New York of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repulsed 23 enemy attacks in the areas east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepovoy, northeast of Berdychi, Avdiivka, Sieverne, and Pervomaiske of the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troops. The enemy also carried out airstrikes in the areas of Oleksandropil and Novobakhmutivka settlements of the Donetsk region. More than 15 settlements, including Oleksandropil, Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, Sieverne, and Pervomaiske of the Donetsk region, were hit by enemy artillery and mortar fire.
In the Mariinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Mariinka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, carried out 13 attacks on the positions of our defenders. Such settlements of the Donetsk region as Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, Maryinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, and Antonivka came under artillery and mortar fire from the occupiers.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, our defenders repelled an enemy attack south of Zolota Nyva, Donetsk region. The enemy carried out an airstrike in the Urozhaine area of the Donetsk region. About ten settlements, including Vugledar, Vodiane, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Urozhaine of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled all enemy attacks west of Verbove of the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy launched an airstrike in the Novodarivka region of the Zaporizhzhia region. More than 20 settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region, including Chervone, Bilogirya, Robotyne, Pyatikhatky, and Kamianske, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Tyaginka and Krynky settlements of the Kherson region. The city of Kherson and Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region, were hit by artillery fire from the enemy.
