The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has accelerated the supply of new weapons samples to the army - without waiting for approval for operation and with tests already on the battlefield, the supply may be reduced to 20 days.

What changes were announced in the Ministry of Defense

As a result of these changes, the delivery process for new samples of weapons and military equipment is expected to be reduced to 20 days. However, this time may vary depending on the quality and completeness of the materials provided by the manufacturer.

Previously, for weapons or equipment to get to the Armed Forces, manufacturers had to undergo a six-stage procedure that could take several months.

From now on, one of the longest bureaucratic hurdles has been removed from it — the issuance of an order on admission to operation. His agreement with various structures of the IOU and the General Staff usually lasted about a month.

The updated fast track for the supply of weapons also provides for a reduction in terms at other stages. In particular, the testing of new weapons and verification of their combat characteristics will take place directly on the battlefield.

In the case of successful results, no additional tests are required.

Ukraine began serial production of "Shahed" analogues

As the Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin reported, Ukraine has established serial output of the " Shakheds " domestic analogue. Dozens of such drones are produced in a month.

According to him, the defence sector contributes to the country's economy. In the future, it should become the primary sector of the Ukrainian economy.

Starting with what they call "Ukrainian Shahed", we don't say the name of this product, but we started mass production of it and now (produce) dozens a month, continuing with many other items that we used to produce very little, but now we have decent numbers , the minister said.
