On the night of November 14, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv chose pre-trail detention for MP Oleksandr Dubinskyy for 60 days without the alternative of posting bail. It is also worth noting that the court session was closed.
Dubinskyy was sent to the pretrial detention centre
The bureau's press service informs of the fact that, according to the court's decision, Oleksandr Dubinsky will spend at least 60 days in custody without the alternative of posting bail.
In addition, it is emphasized that the court recognized the suspicion as well-founded and the evidence sufficient.
It is worth paying attention to the fact that procedural management is carried out by the Prosecutor General's Office.
How Dubinskyy reacted to the court's decision
The MP does not hide his indignation with the fact he is going to spend New Year's Eve in a pretrial detention center and has already made an official comment on this matter.
According to the investigation, Dubinsky had the call sign “Buratino” and was part of a criminal organization created by the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.
It is important to understand that the member of parliament's role in the organization's activities was to spread fakes about the Ukrainian government.
For example, four years ago, he and his accomplices organized a press conference during which he lied about the interference of Ukrainian high-ranking officials in the 2020 US presidential election.
