For more than a day, emergency and rescue work has been going on in the Pokrovsk district of the Donetsk region, which Russia hit with S-300 missiles on January 6. Rescuers dismantled more than 100 tons of destroyed elements of buildings at the impact sites. The bodies of new victims were found.
The number of victims after the Russian missile attack in the Pokrovsk district increased
As of 17:00 on January 7, the bodies of three more victims, including a three-year-old child, were recovered from the sites of Russian missile attacks in the city of Pokrovsk and the village of Rivne.
This was announced by the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, on Telegram.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also reported that, according to operational information, at least 11 people, including five children, were victims of Russian strikes.

On January 6, the Russian army launched a massive attack on the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region.
In the Pokrovsk community, six people died, and eight were injured; 134 private houses and 15 high-rise buildings were damaged. Six people died, and two were wounded in Rivne of the Myrnograd community. Eighty houses, a paramedic-midwifery centre and an administration building were damaged.
The invaders used S-300 missiles.
Emergency and rescue operations are ongoing to search for four people, including two children.
In the village of Rivne, the body of a dead child was removed from the site of a destroyed house. Emergency services are looking for five more people, including two children.
Thus, the number of dead increased to 13.
