Ukraine has received €150 million in non-repayable financial assistance from the European Union. The funds are part of the agreement on financing the programme "Support for Ukraine's Early Recovery".

Where will EUR 150 million of grant aid from the EU be directed?

According to Minister of Finance Sergii Marchenko, the grants will help restore critical facilities damaged as a result of the armed aggression of Russia, including transport infrastructure, housing and communal services, social infrastructure and residential premises.

According to the press service, the second tranche of EUR 100 million is expected in the first quarter of 2024.

The funds will be used both to finance restoration measures and to support small farms and other agricultural businesses.
