Even though the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has publicly assured that mobilization in the aggressor country is currently unnecessary, he can announce it at any moment and try to capture Kyiv or Kharkiv again.
Putin may announce mobilization in Russia even before the presidential elections
According to the Russian opposition leader and the head of the "Sitting Russia" charitable foundation, Olga Romanova, even now, nothing stops the Kremlin leader from announcing a general mobilization because it will not affect the results of the presidential elections.
She noticed that the aggressor country does not have an electorate and actual voters, which means that Putin can do whatever he wants without consequences for his regime.
The opposition leader warns that the Russian dictator wants to go to Kyiv again or capture Kharkiv. However, he knows he has no chance of success without mobilization.
Putin can go to Kyiv and Kharkiv at any moment
Despite this, logical actions and decisions should not be expected from Putin.
Considering that the ratio of AFU and Russian soldiers is significantly different today, the risk that the head of the Kremlin will try to take advantage of this cannot be ignored.
It is also worth reminding that Putin estimates the total number of Russians on the territory of Ukraine at more than 600 thousand fighters.
However, the chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, called it a lie. According to their data, there are 443,000 soldiers and about 30,000 occupiers from Russia's National Guard.
