According to the former head of the Pentagon and the CIA, Leon Panetta, in case of victory in Ukraine, Kremlin dictator and war criminal Vladimir Putin plans to direct aggression against Georgia.

The Kremlin may attack Georgia if it succeeds in Ukraine

Panetta stressed that if the aggression of the Kremlin dictator in Ukraine is not stopped, he will continue to attack, and not only Georgia, but also other NATO member states that share a common border with the aggressor country.

Therefore, it is absolutely important that the US tries to work with Georgia to ensure its security, - emphasizes the former head of the Pentagon.

He noted that Putin's main goal is to undermine democracy in the United States, as well as to undermine democracy in other countries.

This is his main goal, and it is obvious that in order to protect our national security, we must make sure that Putin does not succeed in carrying out his intentions, Panetta said.

What is known about Russia's acquisition of key US technologies to circumvent sanctions

According to The Washington Times journalists with reference to representatives of the US Senate Investigative Committee, Russia continues to receive and use key American technologies in the war against Ukraine, despite hundreds of financial and other sanctions imposed by the administration of President Joe Biden.

American manufacturers fuel and support the growing and gigantic Russian military machine. They are used in missiles, drones, ammunition and other means of warfare. The Russians rely on American technology, - emphasized the representative of the Senate, Richard Blumenthal.

Blumenthal refers to the materials of the investigation conducted by Ukraine, in which it was found that the aggressor country received 211 semiconductors, microcircuits and other technologies produced in the USA.

According to the Senator, 4 leading American technology companies are responsible for the production of these components.

In particular, they are AMD, Analog Devices, Intel and Texas Instruments.

Representatives of these companies told journalists that they stopped supplying products to Russia after its invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

However, Senate investigators found a sharp increase in the exports of these four companies to countries that do not face restrictions and can act as intermediaries transferring American technology to Russia, including Armenia, Finland, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Turkey.

The sharp increase in exports of these four companies includes exports to Kazakhstan, which will increase almost 1,000 times from 2021 to 2022. During the same period, exports to Georgia increased more than 34 times, to Armenia - more than 28 times, to Turkey - more than twice, and to Finland - approximately 1.5 times, - the investigation materials state.

The authors note that the data could affect a number of issues currently being considered by lawmakers, including the stalled military aid package for Ukraine and new questions about the Commerce Department's ability to detect and prevent the export of prohibited products to enemy governments.
