The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine records the readiness of the criminal army of Russia to fight against Ukraine throughout the next year.

What is known about the further plans of Kremlin regarding the war against Ukraine

According to a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Andriy Chernyak, a significant part of the Russian elite is currently opposed to the continuation of the war, but this does not mean that the Kremlin dictator and war criminal Vladimir Putin will agree to end it.

Cherniak noted that the Kremlin is already preparing to wage war against Ukraine within the next year.

The Russians are actively rebuilding the economy, putting it on a military track, putting the whole country under martial law and making every effort to achieve some kind of result. All this, together with the Kremlin's aggressive rhetoric, shows that the Russians are not ready to end the war, explains the DIU representative.

Can Russia support a long war against Ukraine?

At the same time, according to military and political expert Oleksandr Musienko, the Kremlin is limiting its plans for a war against Ukraine to 2025.

The analyst noted that Putin expects Western aid to Ukraine to be reduced over the next year.

Musienko noted that the Kremlin's main objectives are to prevent the war from spreading beyond Ukraine, focus on controlling the occupied territories and limit offensive attempts to secure a better tactical position.

The expert explained that all the actions of the Russian occupiers are aimed at preventing a new counteroffensive by the Ukrainian military.

In fact, they are preparing their support and forces for this strategy. And then they will act on the basis of the foreign policy situation, the outcome of the US presidential election, and how stable the support from North Korea, Iran, and possibly China will be. And from this, we will build on military actions. Of course, globally, the Russians would be ready to move further and occupy even more territory. But they need time to recover, the expert explained.

Cherniak noted that the Kremlin is already preparing to wage war against Ukraine within the next year.
