According to the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (FISU), Oleksandr Lytvynenko, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has actively prepared to fight "as much as necessary" since the war was at the stage of exhaustion.

Russia is not going to give up yet

Despite the colossal losses at the front, the head of the Kremlin does not even think about the end of the war because, for him, it is a question of "the return of originally Russian lands."

The war entered the stage of a war of attrition. There is more and more evidence that the Kremlin is ready to wage war as long as necessary, Oleksandr Lytvynenko explains.

It is also impossible to ignore that the aggressor country is already incorporating the "SVO" factor into the plans for equipping the Russian Armed Forces for 2024-2025.

Vladimir Putin is convinced that he will have enough resources for quite a long time (military-technical, economic and human-ed.) for combat operations against the Armed Forces at the current level.

What's more, the Kremlin also believes that the internal resources of our country are allegedly "approaching complete exhaustion."

The Russian Federation will change its strategy in the war against Ukraine

According to the FISU chief, Moscow intends to adjust its strategy, considering internal destabilization in Ukraine the key to winning.

The FSB of the Russian Federation significantly influences the position of the Kremlin.

Oleksandr Lytvynenko also warned that the aggressor country would focus on three tasks:

  • pressure along the entire front line with the capture of specific, politically and media-important points, in particular Avdiivka;

  • destruction of critical infrastructure in winter (power stations, oil refineries, transport hubs) to reduce the quality of life;

  • the formation of a critical mass of people dissatisfied with the policies of Volodymyr Zelenskyy's team in Ukraine.
