The Russian occupation forces are trying to flee from the left bank of the Dnipro in the Kherson region — the spokeswoman for the "Pivden" operational-strategic group

Russian Occupation Forces

Soldiers of the Russian occupation army are attempting to flee massively from the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region after the Ukrainian military established a bridgehead in the area.

What is happening on the left bank of the Dnipro river in the Kherson region

According to Natalia Gumenyuk, head of the United Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, Currently, there are few cases of desertion from the Occupation Russian Forces on the left bank of the Dnieper River in Kherson region, as the command is trying to keep the occupiers in their positions.

Desertion is flourishing among them. This is the moral and psychological state of the occupation army. They are really trying to find ways to get out of there, but these are isolated cases that some of them succeed in, says Humeniuk

She emphasised that the Russian occupation army command on the left bank of the Dnipro is currently focused on keeping its units in their designated positions.

Humeniuk specified that the Russian units, which have already familiarised themselves with the landscape, are trying to gradually pull back.

They sense that they are under attack from both the Dnipro River and the Zaporizhzhia direction, where our defence forces are active. And in this case, they have to conduct door-to-door checks not only in search of local residents, but also in search of their own men to return them to their units, explains the spokesman for the "Pivden" operational-strategic group.

According to Volodymyr Fityo, spokesman for the Land Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian criminal army has completed regrouping in the area of Kupyansk and resumed a large-scale offensive towards the city.

The enemy has regrouped, will continue to attack Kupyansk from several directions, and wants to reoccupy this city, because it is an important logistics center through which provisions and ammunition were delivered to the enemy army, - Fityo notes.

A spokesman of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that Russians carried out 19 air strikes in this area during the day, using the entire arsenal of their aircraft - strike jets, bombers, and helicopters as fire support.

In addition, the occupiers used 25 kamikaze drones and carried out 532 artillery attacks.
