The Ministry of Defense disclosed details of the work of the conscript's e-cabinet

According to the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense Illarion Pavlyuk, the electronic cabinet of the conscript will allow to significantly simplify the selection of conscripts according to specific specialties.

How the conscript's e-cabinet will work

The emergence of an electronic office is a very convenient mechanism for everyone. It should be understood here that if we have achieved a situation where data is updated on a massive scale, because it can be done at home from a computer, then it is much easier for us to organize a system when a person who has the specialization of a mechanic-driver will perform the relevant tasks in the army, - explains the head of the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

Pavlyuk also emphasized that this will help to reduce the number of errors, when persons unfit for service are considered conscripts.

The spokesman of the Ministry of Defense also noted that conscripts may have fears that thanks to the prompt updating of information in the conscript's office, they will be able to be quickly taken to the army.

However, Pavlyuk noted that no one will be taken "immediately", since the number of conscripts in Ukraine exceeds the urgent needs of the army for additional recruitment.

It's just that this process will become much more qualitative, much more convenient... Now there is a war and it is everyone's duty, we are doing everything to make the process of joining the army more convenient, transparent, faster, and better for the army, - explains the spokesman of the General Staff.

Will there be an increase in punishment for attempts to flee Ukraine from mobilization

A draft law was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada with a proposal to amend the Criminal Code to increase the punishment for attempting to leave Ukraine illegally, fleeing from mobilization.

The document indicates the need to make changes to the fact that illegally crossing the border "in order to avoid conscription for military service during mobilization, for a special period..." is punishable by imprisonment for a term of 3 to 5 years.

Repeated similar offenses or committed by a group of persons are already punishable by imprisonment for a term of 5 to 8 years.

At the same time, it is noted that a person can be released from responsibility in the case of a voluntary return to Ukraine within 6 months from the moment of crossing the border and who voluntarily declared the fact of committing a crime to the employees of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
