In addition to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, three other leaders of Western countries came to Kyiv on the occasion of the second anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

To demonstrate solidarity with Ukraine, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Russia, the following also arrived in Kyiv:

  • Giorgia Maloni, Prime Minister of Italy;

  • Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada;

  • Alexander De Croo, Prime Minister of Belgium.

As Serhiy Nikiforov, the press secretary of the President of Ukraine, said, many visits of leaders of other countries to our country are expected on February 24. In addition, a meeting with the participation of Ukraine and the "Group of Seven" is planned.

Something special is also being prepared for February 25 - a press conference with the participation of top speakers from the government, the military-political leadership, the prime minister, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Main Directorate of Intelligence, the Ministry of Strategic Industry, the President's Office and the president himself. They plan to raise the issue of the future of the army, its development, the introduction of modern technologies, joining the European Union (EU), as well as NATO.

We should also add that the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, arrived in Ukraine on February 23. Together with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, she visited the Lychakiv cemetery in Lviv.

The leader of the majority in the US Senate, Democrat Chuck Schumer, also visited Ukraine.
