An air raid alert has been declared throughout Ukraine due to the take-off of a MiG-31K fighter jet of Russia's criminal army from the Savasleyka airfield in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Explosions are reported in Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi region.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a possible launch of hostile missiles from the Lipetsk region.
Later it became known that Russian war criminals had launched rockets in the area of the town of Starokostyantyniv in the Khmelnytskyi region.

Two explosions were heard in Kyiv.
According to the air force, three missiles were fired in the direction of Starokonstantyniv.
Later, the military added that the cities of Rivne and Lutsk were at risk as well.
It is reported that the criminals of the Russian army fired Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles at Kyiv.

On the night of 13 December, Russian occupiers fired ballistic missiles at Kyiv. Fires and destruction were recorded in the places where missile fragments fell, 53 people were injured, 20 of them were hospitalised.

According to preliminary data, Russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles, the Kyiv City Military Administration reports. At approximately 03:00, the invaders launched the missiles, most likely from the northeast. All targets were destroyed by air defence forces.
