According to representatives of the Operational Command of the Defense Forces "South", the criminal army of the Russian Federation is unsuccessfully trying to overcome the defence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region.

During the day, 9 fruitless assaults were recorded, after which the occupiers returned to their original positions each time with losses. The units of the Defense Forces are working on the expansion of the bridgehead and are firmly holding their positions, the OC "South" representatives emphasise.
The Ukrainian military is carrying out artillery and airstrikes on the places of personnel and enemy equipment concentration, as well as on the rear of the Russian occupiers.
During the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 27 Russian invaders, the "Grad" MRLS, the "Msta-S" self-propelled howitzer, the "Murom-M" surveillance system and one UAV in the Kherson region.
It was also confirmed that the EW station and 11 vehicles were hit.
OC "South" added that the Ukrainian military also destroyed two observation posts of the occupiers.

During the combat day (from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.), the enemy carried out a missile strike using a ballistic missile, presumably "Iskander-M", on Kherson.
The plant's administration building was destroyed, and a bank, a preschool educational institution and four high-rise buildings were damaged.
The aggressor directed five FPV drones and 11 explosive munitions at Novotyagynka, Kachkarivka, Zolota Balka, Sadove, Lvove and Tyagynka, and also tried to attack our positions on the left bank, the message OC "South" representatives' says.
In addition, the occupiers hit Kherson four times with artillery. Also, the enemy shelled Stanislav, Dniprovske, Antonivka, Chervonyi Mayak, Vesele, Kozatske, and Ivanivka — in the Kherson region and the Kutsurub community of Mykolayiv region from Kinburnska Kosa.
Two civilians were injured during artillery shelling in the Kherson region. About a dozen private houses, three cars and two garages were damaged.
According to the Defense Forces, two Russian ships are on combat duty in the Black Sea, and another is in the Sea of Azov.
