Eleven people were injured due to Russia's missile attack on the Park Hotel in the centre of Kharkiv on the evening of 10 January.

The Russian occupiers hit the center of Kharkiv with two missiles, according to the governor of Kharkiv region, Oleh Syniehubov.

Another act of terrorism against civilians, the official wrote on his social media.

According to Mr Syniegubov, the Russian troops hit the city with S-300 missiles.

The part of Park Hotel's building, with more than 30 civilians inside, collapsed due to a huge hit wave caused by the attack. Several cars caught fire.

Four men and seven women aged 31 to 71 sustained injuries of varying severity as a result of rockets falling near the hotel.

Nine of the victims were taken to medical institutions. Two of the victims, who sustained minor injuries, were released after receiving medical treatment on the spot.

Two Turkish journalists were among the injured.

The clean-up operation is ongoing, and rescuers continue to extinguish the fire.

Russian army attacked Kharkiv

In Kharkiv, as a result of rocket fire from the Russian occupiers, a civilian facility was hit tonight, 10 January.

This was reported by the mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov, on his Telegram.

The strike hit a civilian object, the mayor said.

The head of the city noted that there was a high probability of casualties among the people who were there.

Cars are burning in the car park next to the facility, and the building has already been destroyed, the report said.

Terekhov added that all emergency services arrived promptly at the scene.

Later, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, added that the Russian missile attack had hit the Kyiv district of the city.
