On December 11, the Russian military shelled the Kherson region for several hours. A man died as a result of the attack.

Russian military once again attacked Kherson region

In one of the suburban villages, a shell hit a summer kitchen. Rescuers pulled out an injured woman and the body of a dead man from the rubble.

In the city of Kherson, two men were injured as a result of Russian shelling.

As a result of enemy shelling, there are wounded in the Kherson urban territorial community. Now the 24-year-old man is undergoing treatment. The diagnosis is mine-explosive injury, said the head of Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko.

The law enforcement officers started a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1, Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Shelling of the Kherson region

After the liberation of the part of the Kherson region, the area is still under constant shelling by the occupiers. The Russians attack the civilian population with heavy weapons, artillery and aviation.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, on December 8, Russian terrorists launched 62 attacks against the region. 318 shells were fired from mortars, artillery, "Grads", tanks, UAVs and aircraft. In total, 41 shells hit Kherson.

Terrorists targeted:

  • residential quarters in the region;

  • a building of the critical infrastructure facility in Kherson.

A person was injured as a result of the attack.
