According to the analysts of the Defense-ua portal, at least one such combat armored infantry vehicle was destroyed during the fighting in the Avdiyivka area.

This was recorded by the UAVs operators of the 47th mechanized brigade. For the first time, it became known in September that the Russian occupiers will use even the BMP-1U, stolen from Georgia 15 years ago, in a video by Russian propagandists.

It is still unknown whether the occupiers kept the "Georgian" BMP-1Us and how many vehicles of this type were adopted by the Russians. All that is known is that the Russians stole 14 BMP-1Us from Georgia.

According to the publication's analysts, the Russian occupiers replaced the stolen Georgian BMP gun with a Russian 2A72 instead of the ZTM-1.

The authors of the material note that, in addition, during the assaults in the Avdiyivka area, Russian war criminals used such rare types of equipment as BTR-90 and BTR-50.

Analysts have suggested that when planning the offensive towards Avdiivka, the command of the criminal army deliberately removed all the remnants of old armoured vehicles from storage warehouses, either to put maximum pressure on the positions of the Ukrainian army or to avoid potentially high losses during the storming of the city.

Russian occupation troops increased the number of attacks in the Avdiyiv axis. In addition, the invaders are increasing the use of air bombs in the Donetsk region.
