Russian army will soon have nowhere to hide the ships of the Black Sea Fleet — Newsweek

Black Sea Fleet of Russia

According to Western analysts, with the arrival of American F-16 fighters in service with the Ukrainian army, the criminal army of the Russian Federation will not be able to hide the surviving ships of the Black Sea Fleet anywhere.

What is known about the ability to use the F-16 to destroy the Black Sea Fleet of Russia

As Frederik Mertens, an analyst at the Hague Center for Strategic Studies HCSS, noted, due to constant missile strikes and UAV attacks by the Ukrainian military against the facilities of the criminal army of Russia in the occupied Crimea, the Russian terrorist forces were forced to take the surviving ships of the Black Sea Fleet to Novorossiysk.

Russian war criminals are also planning to establish another naval base as far away from Crimea as possible - in Ochamchiri, in the territory of Russian-occupied Abkhazia in Georgia.

Mertens noted that Ochamchira is the furthest from Ukraine within the Black Sea.

The fact that this strategic retreat has become inevitable for the Russian Black Sea Fleet is both a testament to ongoing Ukrainian operations and a clear indication of the danger posed by the arrival of the F-16s, the analyst explains.

Mertens emphasises that the F-16s pose a much greater threat to the Russians than what the Russian Armed Forces currently have.

In particular, these aircraft are capable of fully unlocking the potential of Harpoon anti-ship missiles.

What are the goals of the Russian army that can become the first after Ukraine receives the F-16

According to military analyst Oleh Zhdanov, after Ukraine receives Western fighters, in particular, American F-16s, the key goals will be to destroy the enemy's aviation and logistics.

There will be no counter-offensive tomorrow. This is not being done. Their task will be to fight those who launch rocket and bomb attacks on our troops. This is the first thing. And the second is to strike to the depths of the occupied territories in order to destroy the enemy's logistics, the analyst explains.

Zhdanov is confident that this is exactly what Ukrainian pilots will do as soon as the aircraft are handed over to the Armed Forces.
