In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the Russian army is increasing pressure on the local population. Ukrainians will be subjected to terrible conditions without medical care and more.
Russia intensifies repressions against Ukrainians in occupation
According to the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (DIU), the Russian Federation has significantly intensified intimidation and repression in preparation for the so-called election process and Putin's "re-election", as well as to identify opponents of Russian enslavement.
As part of the punitive and repressive groups that conduct systematic searches of private homes of Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, the Russian occupiers have begun to use behavioural analysis specialists.
During the so-called "document checks" and searches, these individuals closely monitor the homeowner, creating additional psychological pressure.
In an attempt to intimidate and establish total control over the local population, Russians in the occupied Ukrainian territories are trying to block all possible channels of communication and access to information.
For example, in order to obtain permission and the ability to use the mobile Internet, Ukrainians under occupation must contact Russian-controlled providers. These companies inject unknown codes into people's phones, which may indicate the hidden installation of spyware.
What is the situation in the occupied territories
The Russians continue repression and terror in the occupied territories. For example, the occupiers are looking for children in the temporarily occupied territories who continue their online education in Ukrainian schools or use Ukrainian services.
Also, according to the Mariupol City Council, teachers of the Russian-occupied city provided high school students with a template for thanking the military of the aggressor state.
In addition, according to the Central Directorate of the Security Service, the Russians are sending additional Rosgvardia forces to conduct comprehensive checks on the local population.
During large-scale raids, it is planned to set up checkpoints every two months and increase the number of patrols in settlements in the temporarily occupied territories.
The invaders also plan to strengthen control over Ukrainian envoys in the occupation and investigate protest moods among local residents. It is noted that all this is happening as part of the beginning of preparations for the "elections" of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, which are scheduled for the spring of 2024.
Since 1 January 2024, the occupiers have banned the movement of vehicles with Ukrainian licence plates in the occupied territories.
In addition, from the beginning of 2024, the occupiers will deny medical care to Ukrainians who have not received a Russian passport in the occupied territories.
Russian terrorists also form ethnic criminal groups from migrants.
