The Archpriest of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) from Crimea, Dmitriy Krotkov, was informed about the suspicion. He "blessed" terrorists to kill Ukrainians and supplied the enemy with kamikaze drones.

Krotkov supplied weapons to the occupiers of the Russian Federation

The suspect organized a fundraiser in occupied Crimea for the needs of the Russian army. According to the investigation, "charitable contributions" go to the accounts of the so-called "special humanitarian centre" of the local ROC community, which Krotkov headed.

With the money received, Krotkov wholesaled kamikaze drones, thermal imagers, portable radio stations and anti-drone guns for the occupiers.

Krotkov took all this to units of Russian troops stationed on the front lines in the Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions.

Also, during his stay on the front line, he, together with other clerics of the Russian Orthodox Church, consecrated the military equipment of the occupiers and "blessed" them for killing Ukrainians. After the blasting of the Kakhovka dam with explosives, Krotkov visited the affected areas of the left bank of the Kherson region.

Because of his public activity in favor of the aggressor country, Krotkov is a frequent guest on the TV broadcasts of the Russian propagandist Solovyov, the Secutiry Service of Ukraine (SSU) adds.

In addition, the person involved supported the terrorists even during the capture of Crimea. At the same time, he was the abbot of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moskovian Patriarchate church in Simferopol. He tried to block the coastal defence brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the village of Perevalne together with the enemy.

According to the investigation, the cleric called on the Ukrainian defenders to surrender and go over to the side of the enemy. For this, he received a "post" in the so-called Crimean Metropolis of the Russian Orthodox Church, the SSU writes.

What threatens the criminal

Krotkov was informed of the suspicion under Chapter 1 of Art. 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — assistance to the aggressor state.

Since the perpetrator is hiding in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, complex measures are underway to bring him to justice for crimes against our state, the SSU press service explains.
