According to the Russians, two drones were allegedly spotted near an oil storage facility in the Suraz region early in the morning on December 22.
Traditionally, the occupiers claim that both drones were shot down. The wreckage of the first drone was allegedly scattered 300 meters away from the logistics centre, and the second drone was found 500 meters away. At the same time, the Russians assured that the drone had as much as 22 kg of warheads.

According to Ukrinform sources, the Morozovsk airfield was an important target because the 559th bomber aviation regiment of the Russian Aerospace Forces is stationed there.
