Russian Lieutenant Colonel Aleksandr Dosyagaev ordered the shooting of four civilian residents of Bucha during the occupation of the Kyiv region in March 2022. SSU declared him a suspect.
SSU has identified another Russian war criminal
The law enforcement officers established that Lieutenant Colonel Aleksandr Dosyagaev is the commander of the 2nd Battalion of the 104th Regiment of the 76th Airborne Assault Division of the Russian Airborne Forces.
In early March 2022, he directed the actions of the Russian paratroopers who captured Bucha.
During one of these punitive measures, on his order, Russian paratroopers shot four civilians on the road for two hours. The victims were a resident and three volunteers passing by in their car. They all died on the spot.
Dosyagaev was charged with suspicion under Chapter 2 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder).
Currently, the SBU is checking information about the possible death of Dosyagaev in the war in Ukraine.
Russian war crimes in Bucha
During the occupation, the Russian army committed more than 9,000 war crimes in the Buchan district of the Kyiv region. More than 1,700 civilians died, including about 700 in Bucha.
So far, 91 Russian military personnel involved in these crimes have been identified.
