Natalya Humenyuk, press officer of the "South" Defense Forces, spoke about the new successes of Ukrainian soldiers in the Kherson region. According to her, our defenders pushed the Russian soldiers 3-8 km from the left bank of the Dnipro.

The Armed Forces do not stop their movement on the left bank of the Kherson region

According to Natalia Gumenyuk, the figures vary from 3 to 8 kilometres depending on the specifics of the geography and landscape design of the left bank.

Mortar calculations do not already reach the right bank, and therefore this is a certain achievement that we can already record, she said.

The spokeswoman of the Pivden Defense Forces also drew attention to the fact that our soldiers continue to entrench themselves on the left bank.

She does not deny the fact that there is enough work for the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on this part of the front. They are especially taking into account the fact that the Russian invaders did not stop using artillery to cover the right bank of the Kherson region with fire every day.

This means that the occupiers have the opportunity to tighten the reserve, and that they do not yet have a critical limit on the number of these installations. In addition, it should be understood that the Russian invaders are not knocked out so much as not to be able to raise additional forces. In place of the destroyed positions, other, fresher ones are returning, Natalya Gumenyuk explains.

What is known about the number of Russians on the left bank of the Dnipro

The OC "South" press officer officially confirmed that the total number of the group is estimated at several tens of thousands; however, she cannot name a specific number in order "not to mislead the enemy."

There are many enemies, and we have work to do, Natalya Humenyuk notes.

Also, according to her, the formation of strike groups has not been recorded.

It is essential to understand that the Russian invaders cannot prepare for active actions on this part of the front.
