DIU announced a new demand of the Russian authorities for Ukrainians at the ZNPP

According to Ukrainian intelligence, the Russian occupation authorities have decided to "passport" several hundred Ukrainians working at the Zaporizhzhia NPP by the end of the year.

Russians are intensifying the pressure on the Ukrainians at the ZNPP

According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, the aggressor country is increasing pressure on Ukrainian citizens working at ZNPP to obtain Russian passports and sign contracts with Rosatom.

The Russian occupiers demand that several hundred Ukrainian workers be "certified" and sign contracts by 31 December.

The DIU team draws attention to the fact that the occupiers deliberately and selectively deprive people of access to workplaces by cancelling passes, and have created a Telegram bot for anonymous denunciations among ZNPP employees.

Dissatisfaction is growing among Russian power engineers because of unfulfilled promises regarding the duration of business trips to the occupied nuclear power plant — instead of two months, they must work for six months or more, as Russia has difficulty finding willing, qualified replacements.

What is known about the blackout at the ZNPP on November 2

As mentioned earlier, ZNPP lost external power supply and temporarily relied on emergency diesel generators to generate electricity to cool the reactors.

It is important to understand that this was the 8th time that the largest nuclear power plant in Europe has experienced a complete power outage.

As a result, 20 diesel generators started operating in automatic mode. ZNPP management then reduced the number of operating diesel generators to eight, which was enough to provide the plant's six reactors — all of which were shut down — with enough energy for the necessary cooling.
