Biden announced new aid for Ukraine

On December 12, the United States of America allocated $200 million in aid to Ukraine.

Sky News reported this.

Biden in the Oval Office with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that he just signed an agreement to allocate $200 million to Ukraine, the statement said.

In advance, the US allocated additional supplies for the MRLS HIMARS, TOW anti-tank guided missiles, and Javelin MANPADS to our country.

The New York Times reports that sitting next to Zelenskyy in the Oval Office, Biden opened his meeting with the words, "We are standing at a real turning point in history".

Biden added that Congress needs to approve additional funds to provide more aid to Ukraine.

Aid from the USA

The US is running out of money intended to finance military aid to Ukraine. In this regard, President Joe Biden requested more than 100 billion dollars from Congress, which includes more than 60 billion dollars for Ukraine.

Congress is currently divided over the package, with Republicans pushing to include proposals to strengthen border security.

Yesterday, the US National Security Council coordinator at the White House, John Kirby, reported that the United States of America will likely announce another military aid package to Ukraine. This will happen by the end of December.
