Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convinced that Russian dictator Volodymyr Putin is a threat to NATO and will not stop at Ukraine.
Putin is a threat to NATO
In an interview with the American channel Fox News, Zelenskyy answered the question of when, in his opinion, the war will end.
Zelenskyy warns that Putin has crossed all red lines.
Zelenskyy criticised Putin's statements that the President of Ukraine allegedly signed a decree banning negotiations with the Russian Federation, and called him an unreliable person: he recalled that French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz received assurances from Putin that Russia would not occupy Ukraine.
He also commented on Putin's claims that Russia was not interested in going to Poland, Latvia or "anywhere else," adding that people close to Putin said he "doesn't want to stop until he achieves his goals."
The Russian people can remove Putin
Zelenskyy agreed that the Russian people can create change within their country and remove Putin, but the task remains a long and difficult road, especially because "Putin fears only the strong and does not accept any weakness," which means that Ukraine must be "strong on the battlefield, prevent [Russia] from occupying anything."
