The border police of Moldova discovered fragments of an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Shahed type in the area of the Moldovan-Ukrainian border.

A Russian drone crashed in Moldova

The wreckage was found near the village of Etulia, Vulkanesht district. The location of the drone was surrounded by law enforcement officers.

This was reported in the press service of the border police of Moldova .

This information was promptly reported to the competent authorities. Access to the area of the wreckage of the drone was restricted. There is no risk or danger to the public in the area and the authorities have taken all necessary measures to maintain public order, peace and security.

Moldovan border guards believe that the discovered wreckage may belong to one of the drones shot down by a Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile during Russia's latest attack on southern Ukraine.

Russia attacked Odesa region with Shahed drones. It is noted that part of the wreckage affected the port infrastructure. The Armed Forces indicated that the occupiers launched drones at certain intervals.

The Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine clarified that there were three waves of "shaheeds" - the first - 9 drones and it was repelled by 100% and the next - 12 UAVs.

As a result, enemy UAVs hit near-port facilities. Three workers were injured.
