What is known about the return home of children

The head of Kherson RMA, Oleksandr Prokudin, said five children left the occupation and can live freely and safely again. It was possible to return the mother with four children, ages 7 to 12 years.

The large family could not leave independently for a long time. But when proper conditions were created for them, the family immediately agreed," said Oleksandr Prokudin.

It was also possible to return a 17-year-old boy. The boy did not want to get a Russian passport, so he had to hide from the so-called occupation authorities.

From the beginning of 2024, 35 children from the Kherson region could be returned to Ukraine's territories.
