Journalists of the publication note that Ukraine insists that the global peace summit be held already in March of this year.
The publication emphasizes that due to the problem regarding the participation of a number of world leaders, most likely, the timing of the summit will be postponed to April or May.
In particular, Switzerland wants to become the venue for the summit.
It is noted that Swiss diplomats have already established contacts with colleagues from China and other countries, trying to find out whether they are interested in participating.
In addition, China, together with a number of other countries, want Russia to take part in the global peace summit, but Ukraine opposes this.

During the meeting of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine with his colleague from the PRC, bilateral relations and ways to settle the criminal war unleashed by Russia were discussed.
Kuleba met with his Chinese counterpart to discuss a number of issues, including:

trade;
the need to establish a just and stable peace in Ukraine.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informed Wang Yi about Ukraine's vision for the upcoming Global Peace Summit in Switzerland.
During the negotiations, the ministers agreed on the need to maintain Ukrainian-Chinese contacts at all levels and continue the dialogue.
