In Ukraine, new brigades are being formed for further counteroffensive operations and the liberation of territories occupied by Russia.
What is known about the situation at the front and the Kremlin's desire to achieve a pause in the war
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with the publication, the ongoing armed resistance of the Ukrainian military to the aggression of the criminal Russian army reduces the ability of the Russian occupation forces to regroup.
Kuleba noted that the Kremlin would gladly take advantage of a pause in the war.
According to the Foreign Minister, any cessation of hostilities will allow Russian war criminals to regroup and prepare for further aggression against Ukraine.
Kuleba stressed that units are currently preparing for new counteroffensive and defensive operations.
What is known about the West's concerns about the prospects of a war against Ukraine unleashed by the Kremlin
The publication notes that Dmytro Kuleba's position was voiced against the backdrop of a number of Western experts' opinions that if Ukraine continues to receive military support from its Western partners, next year Ukraine will at best be able to restore the forces and resources it has spent.
The unnamed Western strategists believe that a limited number of Ukrainian troops could deter the Russian army, giving NATO member states time to train new units, expand weapons production and replenish defence arsenals.
The publication also notes that a recent NATO meeting discussed the failure of Russia's attempts to break through the defences of the AFU, which destroys the resources of the aggressor country in terms of manpower, equipment and ammunition.
This could potentially give Ukraine the best prospects for regaining the initiative on the battlefield in the spring of 2025.
