On January 14, 2023, the Russian army made a missile attack on a high-rise building in Dnipro - 40 adults and six children were killed due to the enemy's attack. Another 79 peaceful Ukrainians were injured.
Dnipro bowed his head today in a moment of silence. There, near the high-rise building on Peremoga Ave. Exactly one year ago. It was also announced at the same place. Because they believed to the last that maybe someone still survived. We hoped they would make themselves known. We would hear voices from under the ruins in the silence. It was Saturday. A day for family time. The day after which the city farewelled to whole families. It wept for children and parents. Friends, colleagues and just acquaintances were burying, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Serhiy Lysak, recalls the tragic day.

Thanks to you, we managed to save 39 residents of a multi-storey building damaged by an enemy missile that day.
PGO promised to punish all involved in the Russian attack on Dnipro
The Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) notified the 52nd Guards Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment commander of the Russian Armed Forces of suspicion of committing a war crime.
The investigation indicated that it was possible to establish the serial number of the Tu-22M3 plane used for the attack and the entire chain of persons involved.
We will find everyone who is involved in another act of crime against peaceful citizens, Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin assured Ukrainians.
