On Mar. 14, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrsky, officially confirmed the launch of the process of rotating and replacing units that have been performing combat missions on the front lines for a long time.

The process of rotations at the front has already begun

The positive thing is that, despite the relatively complex situation on the entire front line, we managed to start rotations and replace units and units that have been performing combat tasks at the front for a long time.

According to him, this will stabilize the situation and positively affect the moral and psychological state of Ukrainian defenders.

In addition, the Col Gen disclosed the details of his visit to the Zaporizhzhia direction and assured that during his work there he made all the necessary decisions to increase the combat capabilities of our brigades.

What is happening in the Zaporizhzhia direction

According to Oleksand Syrskyi, Russian fighters do not stop attacking the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers in the areas of Robotyne and Verbove, but the enemy has not made any significant progress on this part of the front.

Combat operations are characterized by the numerous use of drones of all types in combination with artillery and mortar fire. Under such circumstances, unmanned strike systems are gradually becoming the main strike weapon of ground units in a combined military battle, the AFU Commander-in-Chief emphasises.

According to Oleksandr Syrskyi, reliable protection of our servicemen can only be provided by modern and powerful EW means, the role and importance of which are constantly growing.

He also draws attention to the fact that the confrontation between drones and EW has come to the fore, and only the one who is the first to break away from the enemy in this competition will have a chance to win.
