Night shelling of Ukraine: what is known

The Air Force of Ukraine previously reported that the occupiers again launched "Shahed" drones over the territory of Ukraine in the evening.

The Southern Defense Forces reported the results of their work.

At night, the enemy attacked the southern regions of Shahed-131/136 drones in two waves. The main attack was concentrated on Odesa, six people were injured. There was a pause of up to 15 minutes between warnings about the air alarm. And the combat work was carried out in the conditions of an abundant approach to the attack of several drones at the same time. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 11 kamikaze drones: 10 in Odesa region, one in Mykolaiv region.

The enemy used tried-and-tested tactics - he entered from the sea area at low altitudes and resorted to complex manoeuvres.

Unfortunately, the downed drones followed an inertial trajectory and flew to residential areas. One of them, having hit a partially occupied multi-story new building in Khadzhibey district of Odessa, caused a fire. Several apartments were damaged, one person received burns and was hospitalized.

Another downed drone fell through the roof of a two-story residential building in the city's Prymoria district. Another UAV fell in the same residential area, next to an apartment building damaged in the previous attack. The blast wave caused a lot of damage to the glazing of the surrounding houses; a car parked in the yard was burnt to the ground, and several others were damaged.

Four people were injured. They were treated on the spot and are being treated on an outpatient basis. Rescuers unblocked one of the victims from under the rubble.

Unfortunately, it was not possible to avoid the hits. The enemy targeted the warehouse of a furniture factory in the industrial district of Odessa. A powerful fire broke out due to a large amount of flammable substances.

A man who was riding a bicycle nearby was thrown to the ground by the shock wave and was injured by fragments of various objects scattered by the explosion. Medical assistance was provided, and he is being treated on an outpatient basis.
