Ukraine's Air Force speaker: Russia has no lack of "Shaheds" use

The latest Russian attacks using a small "Shaheds" amount do not indicate that the occupiers have a lack of kamikaze drones of Iranian development.

Does Russia feel the lack of "Shaheds"

It says absolutely nothing, that's for sure. It cannot be claimed that there is a shortage ("Shakhediv", — ed.). How can there be a shortage, if there were 500 in September, then again hundreds are used every month, Ukraine's Air Force speaker, Col Yuriy Ignat, said.

As an example, the spokesman recalled a New Year's Eve when the Russians launched about 90 kamikaze drones over Ukraine, most of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defence forces.

Today we decided to use four. Sometimes it even happens that one or two are used at night to test our capabilities and launch them as a reconnaissance target to see how we will react to this or that threat, — Ignat added.

Night shelling of Ukraine

On the night of February 1, the Russian invaders launched four kamikaze drones over Ukraine. Air defence forces of Ukraine shot down two Shaheds.

However, the Russians also attacked with missiles and artillery, in particular, the frontline regions. So, in Kherson, some residents were left without electricity due to night shelling. Trolleybuses did not enter the routes due to a power outage.

Also, late in the evening of January 31, the occupiers attacked Kharkiv, in particular, attacked civilian infrastructure. The Russians also dropped aerial bombs on a hospital in the Kupiansk district.
