Zelenska calls on the world to help return Ukrainian children kidnapped by Russia

During the visit to Latvia, the wife of the President met with the First Lady of Latvia for 2019-2023, Andra Levite and the President of Latvia for 2019-2023, Egils Levits.

Olena Zelenka sincerely thanked them for their support because Andra Levite was one of the first to personally call at the beginning of the Russian aggression to offer help.

At the international conference, the first lady of Ukraine once again reminded the world how painful and urgent the issue of the return of children kidnapped by Russia remains for Ukrainians.

The world needs to know what Russia is doing to our children and what it will do to any. Olena Zelenska said that the world needs to know to finally unite and act to save childhood — not only ours but everything.

It is important to understand that politicians and human rights defenders from different countries participate in the international conference "Russia's War Against Children", which is being held on February 1 in Riga.

Olena Zelenska's team is counting on the active position of the international community and effectadequatenational support and is also waiting for additional proposals and an expansion of the circle of partners who will work on the issue of the return of Ukrainian children.

Why it is importessentialtch the movie "Abducted Childhood"

In 2023, the Online.UA team presented the documentary project "Abducted Childhood", which collected the stories of Ukrainian children abducted to Russia.

The heroes of the documentary talk frankly about how and where they met the war, what crimes the Russians faced and how they tried to save their lives and the lives of their loved ones.

Every day, the Ukrainian side does everything possible to return kidnapped minors, but diplomacy with Russia does not work, so the process is highly complicated.

Russia continues to illegally remove children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. However, this is not an evacuation, as the Russians claim, but a mass kidnapping of minor citizens of Ukraine.

In its new film, the Online.UA team documented children's testimonies about the war crimes committed by the Russian Federation against the Ukrainian people.
